As part of its public protection mandate, CDHM regularly develops, reviews, and updates regulations, bylaws, policies, Standards of Practice, practice guidelines, and other professional resources to support safe, ethical, and competent dental hygiene practice in Manitoba.
Feedback from registrants, members of the public, employers, educators, professional associations, and other stakeholders is an important part of this process. Hearing from those impacted by proposed changes helps CDHM better understand practical implications, identify potential concerns, and ensure regulatory decisions remain transparent, fair, and focused on protecting the public.
This feedback process is referred to as a consultation. Before implementing new changes or revisions, CDHM carefully reviews and considers all comments and submissions received.
