Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
- CPR Certification must be completed annually.
- Certification must be at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level.
- Certifications from online only courses are not accepted.
- Registrants must display their current BLS CPR certification on their CDHM accounts.

Criminal Record Check (CRC)
- Criminal Record Checks are valid for up to 5 years.
- Criminal Record Checks (CRC) MUST include the Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
- There is a 30-day grace period from the expiration date by which a new Criminal Record Check must be uploaded. If more time is needed contact the CDHM office.
- The Criminal Record Check must be completed by the RCMP or local Police Detachment. Third party/online Criminal Record Checks are not acceptable.
- Winnipeg Police Criminal Record Checks can no longer be sent directly to the CDHM. Your Criminal Record Check will be sent directly to you by email or mail.
- To submit your Criminal Record Check, you will upload it by completing a profile update.
- Reminder: when you complete a profile update you must always complete/update the employment section before you submit. If you get an error message after submitting always check the employment section and then resubmit your profile update.
Residents of Winnipeg will be completing their Criminal Record Checks through the Winnipeg Police Criminal Record Check Portal: https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/services/winnipeg/
Those residing outside Winnipeg go in person to the local RCMP Detachment to request a Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check. To find the office near go to the RCMP website: https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/detach/en/find/MB
