The Office of Interprofessional Collaboration (OIPC) at the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, invites registrants of the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba to attend the 4th Annual Communities and Collaboration Symposium held virtually on May 5th, 2021 from noon to 3:30 pm. Key note speaker is Dr. Peter Cahn, a cultural anthropologist and associate provost for academic affairs and director of the Center for Interprofessional Studies and Innovation at MGH Institute of Health Professions. Dr. Cahn will be speaking at noon on interprofessional collaboration as a means of dismantling systemic racism. The noon hour session is followed by short presentations on a variety of issues. A number of collaborative teams will share their experiences in making a difference in people’s lives.
