Fellow Manitoba Dental Hygienists

As Chair of the Transitional Council of the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba, I strongly urge you to consider a Council position, or serving on a committee. It is crucial that we recruit grass roots dental hygienists to participate. Your perspective and expertise is not only valued, but absolutely necessary. We will be dealing with important issues such as continuing competency, re-entry to practice, and the ongoing monitoring of the legislation and policies. No doubt, there will be a learning curve for all involved and as such training will be provided.

We would also like to encourage dental hygienists from outside of Winnipeg to get involved. Council and committee members may attend meetings in person or via teleconference where remuneration may be provided for travel expenses incurred.
